Alya Restaurant

For the opening of Alya Restaurant in Abu Dhabi, Jure Ursic was commissioned to capture a series of authentic lifestyle photographs focused on the heart of the experience—the kitchen and the people behind it. This collaboration between Phocrea and Strawberry Advertising aimed to showcase the everyday excellence of Alya through strong, honest visuals.

The photography centers on the team in action. From chefs precisely plating dishes to the rhythm of the kitchen in motion, every image highlights the intensity and care that define Alya’s culinary identity. Jure’s ability to balance raw documentary-style moments with a polished visual feel gives each frame both emotion and clarity.

As a restaurant photographer, he focused on the people, the prep, and the pulse of the space. His work here also reflects his role as a chef photographer, celebrating the talent behind the dishes, and as a kitchen photographer, documenting the working energy of the team.
