The Jumeirah Eco Village at Madinat Jumeirah is an immersive sustainability experience designed for in-house guests. The initiative highlights beekeeping and pollination, hydroponic farming, marine conservation, and recycling awareness, all within the resort environment. This assignment marked our first larger collaboration with Jumeirah and Dubai Holding, produced alongside our sister company Phocrea.

Before the shoot, we conducted detailed scouting across the Eco Village zones to understand movement, light direction, and guest flow. We then prepared a structured production presentation covering all visual scenarios, key sustainability touchpoints, framing options, and backup plans. Every scene was mapped in advance to protect brand consistency and ensure smooth execution.

Visually, the direction blended hospitality photography with eco photography and conservation storytelling. We focused on:

• Natural interactions around the beehives and pollination areas
• Clean documentation of hydroponic systems and sustainable farming
• Environmental portraits that connect guests with biodiversity
• Wider frames that communicate responsible tourism and green initiatives

The goal was not only to show activities, but to communicate environmental awareness, marine conservation values, and sustainable practices in an authentic way. This balance between lifestyle photography, environmental photography, and commercial photography supports hospitality brands that want to highlight their commitment to sustainability.

Timing was critical. The client needed the visuals live immediately. Final selections were edited and delivered the next day as a rush turnaround so the campaign could launch without delay.
